Planning Board endorses King's Court boundary reconfiguration plan

Planning Board · Meeting of August 19, 2026

ESSEX — Planning Board unanimously endorses property boundary plan at 2 and 4 King's Court. Chair Lisa O'Donnell recused herself due to a conflict of interest, with Co-Vice-Chair Beth Walsh conducting the review of the Approval Not Required application from 163 Southern Avenue Trust and 4 King's Court Trust to reconfigure lot lines following a dwelling relocation. The Board voted unanimously.

The Board also advanced zoning bylaws for fall town meeting, backing a 10 percent inclusionary housing requirement for new projects of six or more units at 80 percent of area median income, and regulations adding battery energy storage systems and data centers as special permit uses.
