ESSEX — Planning Board unanimously approves Site Plan Review and building siting for 31 Apple Street. Chair Lisa O'Donnell and Board members approved the project following a presentation of revised plans by applicant representative Alex Filias and consultation with Building Inspector Bill Sanborn. The Board amended the Site Plan Review document to acknowledge that the garage extends beyond the building envelope before voting unanimously to approve the final form.
In other business, the Board reviewed the Housing Production Plan scheduled for joint public hearing with the Board of Selectmen on January 21, and discussed potential bylaw updates for the May 2026 Annual Town Meeting.
