Essex Planning Board advances review of Preserve at Essex 36-lot residential subdivision. The Planning Board reported progress on The Preserve at Essex, an open space residential development on Essex Park Road with a public hearing scheduled for March 4. Chair Lisa O'Donnell worked with Town Planner Valerie Massard to finalize engineering peer review scope.
Fire Department Deputy Chief Dave Pereen offered preliminary approval conditional on hydrant-location clarification and full hydrant documentation. The board unanimously approved prior minutes and received state certification of Essex's full compliance with MBTA Communities Law housing requirements.
