Essex Sees 11 Deed Transfers in July, Main Street Anchors Priciest Sales
Essex recorded 11 property transfers between July 3 and Aug. 1, with five deeds disclosing sale prices ranging from $579,000 to $1.9 million and a median of $820,300. The month's top sale was 78-80 Main St, which sold for $1.9 million to Pike Marine LLC. Main Street saw three separate transfers, the most of any street. Six of the 11 recorded deeds -- including properties on Pickering Street, Haskell Court, Lakeshore Drive and Spring Street -- were transfers within the same family or to a trust, and none of those disclosed a price.
