ESSEX Safety Committee Schedules OSHA Trainings for Spring

Essex Safety Committee advances OSHA compliance training schedule for spring. Town Administrator Brendhan Zubricki, acting as chair, led the committee in scheduling mandatory chainsaw training for May 11-12 through MIIA and specialized safety training for May 20 on personal protective equipment, trenching, and extreme weather protocols, funded through a DIA training grant. The committee reviewed prior Loss Control Grant spending on Town Landing pier railings and began planning for the FY27 grant allocation.
Board of Health representative Erin Kirchner noted that Chief Hassel is scheduling CPR and First Aid training for all town employees in February.
