Essex Deed Filings Show Even Split Between Million-Dollar Sales And Family Trust Transfers
Essex recorded eight property deed transfers between Aug. 7 and Sept. 5. Four disclosed sale prices, ranging from $775,000 to $1,465,000, with a median of $1,037,500. The period's highest-priced transaction was 17 Addison St., which sold for $1,465,000 on Aug. 10 from seller Corey P. Jackson to buyer Logan Sena. The remaining four transfers moved property from individual owners into revocable trusts bearing the same names, and none disclosed a sale price. With half of recorded activity representing trust transfers rather than open-market sales, and no two transfers occurring on the same street, the data points to a modest, geographically scattered month for Essex real estate.
