Council on Aging · Meeting of January 15, 2026

Essex Council on Aging approves financial security planning goal. The Strategic Planning Committee approved financial security education as an overarching goal for senior services and identified three supporting objectives: partnering with social services agencies, providing direct help with budgeting and account reconciliation, and offering scam-awareness information. The committee also proposed email and social media outreach to publicize available services and monthly newsletter content on scams.

Members will refine the objectives at their next meeting on January 29, 2026.
