Commission approves two-year extension for salt marsh restoration

Essex Conservation Commission approves salt marsh restoration extension. The Commission voted unanimously April 21 to issue a two-year extension to DEP Order #021-0728 for ongoing salt marsh restoration activities, with representatives from Rimmer Environmental and the Trustees of Reservations presenting via Zoom. The Commission also unanimously issued a negative Determination of Applicability for Thomas Perkins' sewage disposal system proposal at 66 John Wise Avenue after accepting revised plans.
An engineering representative announced the Open Space Residential Development's intention to file 26 Notice of Intent applications covering one infrastructure project and 25 residential lots within wetlands-subject areas.
