Commission approves 91 Main Street project with conditions

ESSEX — Conservation Commission approves Main Street renovation with added environmental protections. Essex Main LLC received unanimous Commission approval for its project at 91 Main Street, which includes a deck off the rear of the building, conversion of paved parking to pervious surface, landscape plantings, and phragmites management; the Commission added a condition prohibiting concrete washout on site following presentations by Clair Hoogeboom of LEC and James Polakiewicz of Hancock Associates. The Commission also unanimously approved a Certificate of Compliance for 7 Red Gate Road contingent on proof of tree planting.
In a related matter, the Commission declined to submit Form F comments to the Planning Board on the Essex Park Road Open Space Residential Development, planning to review the project upon direct application from the developer.
