Board authorizes $280,000 renovation at Public Safety Facility

Essex selectmen authorize $280,000 Public Safety Facility siding project. The board voted unanimously to direct Town Administrator Brendhan Zubricki to take to bid a vinyl panel replacement addressing peeling stain on the facility's wooden shingles. The board also voted unanimously to approve a new Fire Captain/Fire Prevention Officer position for fiscal 2027 at salary range $90,000 to $120,000, and to ratify the town's federal earmark application submissions for water main and water tower improvements.
